Open to 4th-12th grade. Drop in and learn the Japanese art of kumihimo, used by samurai to create lacing for their armor. We'll scale down the technique and make unique friendship bracelets or bookmarks. Note: 4th-5th grade projects will be available in the Children's Department. 6th-12th grade projects will be available in the Teen Room.
We will be closing early at 4:00 pm for the homecoming parades. Note: Citizenship classes will not be available on September 5th or 26th.

Open to 6-12th grade. Studies show that coloring can relieve stress, and make you feel happier and more creative. Well, it's National Coloring Day, if you needed an excuse to send the day with crayons, markers, and colored pencils. Bring a friend and enjoy a coloring sheet or two.
Bring your child, birth to 5 years old and come learn the strategies that can be used to develop skills for learning to read. The children will play while the adults learn, then they will practice the skills they learn with their child.
Open to 6-12th grade. Arrrre you ready for International Talk Like a Pirate Day on September 19th? Get inspired with pirate snacks, crafts, and the best action/comedy pirate movie of 2003, Pirates of the Caribbean (PG-13)!
Open 8th-12th grade. Play in a casual setting to make friends, learn a new game, or hone your skills! Bring your decks and make some new friends, or get started if you're interested in learning. All skill levels welcome. Activities available while supplies last.
Open to all! Dr. Sean McKenzie from Calhoun City Schools will be teaching these classes each week, so please tell your friends! This is a free class and does not require documentation. No class on September 5th or September 26th. Note: As of 9/17/2019, this class will be held on Tuesdays.
Open to ages 18 and up. Develop your skills to prepare for the workforce. Learn how to best dress for a job interview, and then learn how to prepare for an interview.
