RBdigital provides access to hundreds of eBooks, eAudiobooks, and digital magazines all through a single mobile app. Registration is now available in-app. Once you’ve registered, you can access eBooks, eAudiobooks, and eMagazines through your computer or through the app.

RBdigital eBooks and eAudiobooks can be checked out for up to 14 days with one renewal. Renewals will not be available if an item has a hold. Magazine issues are permanently available once downloaded. Library cards must say Northwest Georgia Regional Library System on them and cannot be expired.

Quick Start

Mobile Users (iOS, Android, Kindle Fire)

  • Step 1: Download the RBdigital app on your mobile device.
  • Step 2: Register for an account using your NGRL library card.
  • Step 3: Log in to the app.
  • Step 4: Find an eBook, eAudiobook, or magazine you like and download it!
  • Step 5: Digital materials will automatically return themselves at the end of the checkout period.

Computer Users (Windows & Mac)

  • Step 1: On a computer, open your browser and go to https://ngrl.rbdigital.com.
  • Step 2: Register for an account using your NGRL library card (if it asks for an ‘access code’, make sure you’re at the correct web address)
  • Step 3: Download the eBook Desktop App to read eBooks or the RBdigital Media Manager app to listen to audiobooks and to transfer them to your mp3 player.
  • Step 4: eBook users will need to create an Adobe ID to read eBooks on a computer. The Adobe ID is required to maintain digital rights and prevent piracy. This process is quick and free. Create an Adobe ID.
  • Step 5: Log in to the eBook Desktop App with your Adobe ID and your RBdigital account or log into the Media Manager with your RBdigital account.
  • Step 6: Find an eBook or eAudiobook you like and download it!
  • Step 7: Digital materials will automatically return themselves at the end of the checkout period. In the computer apps, the title may still be visible but not accessible.

OverDrive

Click here to go to the OverDrive website. Requires a NGRL library card and account. Free eBooks.

OverDrive provides access to hundreds of eBooks and eAudiobooks through a mobile app or through a computer. Your username is your NGRL library card number (no spaces) and your password is the PIN created when you signed up for your account. If you don’t remember your PIN, drop by the library to get a new one.

OverDrive eBooks and eAudiobooks can be checked out for up to 14 days with one renewal. Renewals will not be available if an item has a hold. You can have up to five items out at a time, and items will automatically return on their due date. Library cards must say Northwest Georgia Regional Library System on them and cannot be expired.

Quick Start

  • Step 1: Download the Libby App (OverDrive App for Kindle Fire) from your mobile app store.
  • Step 2: Follow the prompts in your app to add a library and to sign in using your NGRL library card and PIN.
  • Step 3: Find an eBook or eAudiobook you like and download it!
  • Step 6: Digital materials will automatically return themselves at the end of the checkout period.

Computer & eReader Users (Windows, Mac & Kindle eReader)

  • Step 1: Open your browser and visit https://ngrls.overdrive.com/ and log in using your NGRL library card and PIN.
  • Step 2: Find an eBook or eAudiobook you like and borrow it.
  • Step 3: Go to Loans and choose an option
    • Read on a Kindle eReader (redirects to the Amazon website to complete the download)
    • Read in the browser (only works while connected to the internet)
    • Download the PDF version (requires Adobe Digital Editions desktop app and an Adobe ID)
  • Step 4: Digital materials will automatically return themselves at the end of the checkout period.
