Board Meeting Schedule NGRL Board Dalton-Whitfield Board Calhoun-Gordon Board Chatsworth-Murray Board
The Library Board of Trustees for each branch consists of members appointed to approve matters of finance, policy, and planning in addition to acting as advocates for the library to the general public. The Regional Library Board of Trustees additionally has the responsibility of hiring the Library Director who administers the daily operations of the library system. Library Boards are further explained in Title 20, chapter 5, article 43 of the Georgia Code.
All board meetings are open to the public, except those designated as “called” or “executive session.” This gives the community the opportunity to have a voice in the operation of the library.
