Passive DIY: Video Guided Painting — Adults

Open to ages 18 and older. Learn the basics of water-color painting in Paint with Jane, a video tutorial by Jane Seymour. Passive activities are available on a drop-in basis and are not lead by an instructor. Activities will be available in the seating across from the circulation desk. Supplies will be provided.

Open to all ages. In memory of the 9/11 tragedy, we're inviting members of the community to join us in giving back. Give back by making fleece tie blankets for foster children, making cards for Veterans and nursing home residents, paint rocks as gifts, help out in the library, and more.

Open to 18 and older. Learn how to quickly highlight important numbers using conditional formatting, work with multiple sheets in an Excel file, calculate percentages and more.. Class will be offered on two different days at different times to provide more opportunities to attend.

Intro to Virtual Reality — Adults

Open to ages 18 and older. Come experience our Virtual Reality headset, the Oculus Rift. Experiment in a simple tutorial, try to beat the high score by keeping on rhythm, explore the world like a bird, or join in short stories. If you're hesitant or curious, drop by and enjoy seeing what others are experiencing.
