Calhoun-Gordon County Public Library Will Close for Renovations

Library officials announced today the planned temporary closure of the Calhoun-Gordon County Public Library branch. This branch is completing a series of renovations that will conclude with the delivery of new computer furnishings, public seating, and shelving. The library must close to the public during the last phase of the project to allow for the safe installation of the furnishings. The construction project was scheduled to minimize the closure of the library to the public. The Calhoun library will close to the public at the end of business on December 10th. The library will remain closed from December 11th until the project is complete.

The Calhoun library staff will remain on duty to collect returned items from the book drop, examine and repair holdings and conduct an inventory of the collection.

The Calhoun library branch will reopen as soon as possible.
