Library officials announced today the planned temporary closure of the Chatsworth-Murray County Public Library branch.
This branch is completing a series of renovations that will conclude with the delivery of new computer furnishings, public seating, and shelving. The library must close to the public during the last phase of the project to allow for the relocation of the current library materials and final preparations. The construction project was scheduled to minimize the closure of the library to the public. The library will remain closed from December 16th until the project is complete.
The Chatsworth library staff will remain on duty to collect returned items from the book drop, examine and repair holdings and conduct an inventory of the collection.
The Chatsworth Library Branch will reopen as soon as possible.
