September is national Library Card Sign-Up month! Come by the library and register for PINES library card. With it, you get access to free:
- Wireless internet and computers
- Free programs for kids and teens
- Reference, research, and homework help
How many cards in your wallet or on your key chain give you access to all of that? To find out the value a library card can bring you, check out the Library Value Calculator.
To get a library card, you must have a photo ID and something showing your current address. For a full list of accepted proof of address items, visit our Library Card page. Children under the age of 17 must have a parent or guardian with them to register for the card, but can get the card at any age.
If you already have a library card, let us know what library service you use and like the most in the comments, what the value of the library is to you, and what you would find most useful for us to add! Or, let us know on Facebook.
