DW – FoL Book Sale

Dalton-Whitfield Library’s Friends of the Library Book Sale: First Saturday of each month from 10am – 1pm

The Book Sale may be closed or postponed if the Saturday of the sale is on a holiday weekend.

At this month’s sale, the Friends of the Library will be raffling off a beautiful quilt. The mayor will be joining them to draw the winning ticket! See the image below for the quilt they’ve been selling tickets for.

This Saturday there will be special bargains. All health books, sport books and Christmas books will be free. Each customer may have only 3 Christmas books but any amounts of the others. Please use Book Sale outside door to enter but not the front door of public library. Our newly renovated public library will reopen December 14.

Come join the Friends of the Library as they sell used books, magazines, movies, and CDs for great prices! There is occasionally furniture and electronics available as well. All proceeds benefit the library.

Please note: The Dalton-Whitfield County Library is still closed for renovations (see Renovations page for more information) and will be opening on December 14th. The book sale is in a separate part of the building. To access the sale, walk down the hill at the back of the library and go to the last door to the right near the cobblestone walk way.

    Hi Dalton-Whitfield Library,

I am interested in attending your book sale. Could you give me a rough estimate of how many items you will have for sale? Just a rough estimate is fine. Thank you for your time.

      Hi Ava,

I don’t think I can give you a top end, but there are well over a thousand books available for sale during the book sale. There are also a small amount (100-200?) of VHS movies, CDs, and Audiobooks. I hope this information helps! Please let me know if there’s anything else I can tell you.
