CG – Fossil Discovery, Fizz, Boom, Read!

Calhoun-Gordon Library presents Fossil Discovery for Fizz, Boom, Read!: Tuesday, June 17th @ 2:00pm

FossilFossil Discovery: Tuesday, June 17th @ 2:00pm
There will be a special presentation about rocks and fossils at each library. Participants will learn what a fossil is and how they got into rocks. Everyone will get to touch a piece of the past in this interactive program. The kit, provided by Tellus Museum, encourages children to ask questions about how rocks form, how fossils are created, and how fossils are found.

Kids from 0 to rising 5th graders will get to participate in a summer full of reading, science, and fun in our Summer Reading Club. Most events will be on Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. at the Calhoun Depot located across the railroad tracks from the library.

Just wondering if I can still register my kids for the summer program. Thanks so much!

      Hi Megan,

As far as I know, all NGRL libraries are still accepting new families into the program! They’ll have missed some programs, but we’d still love for them to get involved. Just drop by your local library.
