Open to tweens (grades 4th-8th). Create tube constellations. Supplies provided, just bring your creativity.

Calhoun-Gordon County Library presents: Read with a Therapy Dog on in August
Meet and read with Carl, Sophie, Peanut or Kavu throughout the month of August. Dates include:
- August 4th – 4:00pm-5:30pm
- August 9th – 4:00-5:30pm
- August 18th – 4:00pm-5:30pm
- August 23rd – 4:00pm-5:30pm
Is your child reluctant about reading because he or she feels shy or apprehensive? Reading aloud with an Alliance of Therapy Dog friend, will build up confidence and give a child a sense of ac-complishment. No appointments are needed, just come by during these times and enjoy being with a Therapy Dog.
(He is also available for free hugs to all ages!)

Project: Random Chore Assignments
Purpose: Assigns age-appropriate chores to different people based on user input. Input requires names, age-ranges, and chores.
Language: Created using Codester’s version of Python.

Dalton-Whitfield County Library presents a Resume Writing Class for adults and teens on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 5:00pm-6:00pm
Join us for an introductory course that provides tips on how to create Resumes and Cover Letters.
No registration is required. A Spanish-language translator will be available, courtesy of Dalton State College.

Board meetings are open to the public. The Northwest Georgia Regional Library Board of Trustees helps sets policies, schedules, budgets and more for all three branches of our library system. The meetings rotate locations.

Come hear Kathy Sproull, Janice Smith, and Jim & Sherry Patterson as they provide a musical performance which includes Appalachian instruments, the Dulcimer and the Mandolin.
