DW – Teen Fandom Friday: Sherlock Clue

Dalton-Whitfield County Library presents a teen event: Fandom Friday – Sherlock Clue on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 4:00pm – 5:30pm

Come figure out who did it in our life-sized version of the board game Clue. It will be Sherlock-themed to celebrate one of fandom’s most famous detectives. Teens in 6th – 12th grade only, please!

Dalton-Whitfield County Library will be closed all day on February 10, 2016 due to the weather

Whitfield and Dalton schools are closed, so we have decided to take the safer route and close as well. Please stay warm and stay safe. Do not use the book drops unless you feel safe driving. Keep an eye on the website, Facebook, and TV9 for any updates.

DW – Teen: Cardboard Carnival

Dalton-Whitfield Library presents a teen program: Cardboard Carnival on January 29th from 4:00pm – 5:30pm.

Use cardboard, adhesives, and string to create cardboard versions of arcade games, such as ski ball, ping-pong machines, and foosball. Once you’re done, it’s time to play!

DW – Adult Coloring Time

Dalton-Whitfield County Library presents an adult event: Coloring Time on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 3:00pm – 6:30pm

Drop by any time between 3:00pm and 6:30pm to enjoy free coloring pages, quiet music, and coffee. This is a great time to relax a little without any kids around. This is a free class. All materials are provided. Adults ages 18 and up only please.

Dalton-Whitfield County Library will be closed today, Saturday, January 23, 2016 due to the inclement weather and icy conditions.

We hope everyone stays safe and warm during this potential weather. We do ask that you do not use the bookdrops unless you feel it is safe to drive. We don’t want anyone to risk their safety! All events have been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.
