DW – CLOSED for New Year’s 2017

Dalton-Whitfield Library will all be closed for the New Year’s Holiday on Saturday, December 31, 2016, and Monday, January 2, 2017

Our first day open in 2017 will be January 3rd. Stay safe and enjoy holidays.

Remember, during that time our book drops will be open for returns and our eBooks and eAudiobooks will still be available. You can renew your items online as well!

Dalton-Whitfield County Library presents: Creation Station for K-5th Grade on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 4:00pm

Kids in K-5th will create a weaving project using old CDs. This event is first come, first served. No early registrations available. Limit: 25 people.

De-stress from school with us by laughing at short, funny videos, letting loose on some bubble-wrap, and grabbing a warm drink! Teens in 6th to 12th grade only, please.

DW – Red Cross: Pillowcase Project for Kids / El Proyecto de Funda de Almohada: Una Actividad del Red Cross para Niños

Dalton-Whitfield County Library presents a family project: Red Cross Pillowcase Project for kids in 3rd-5th grade and their parents on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 5:00pm – 6:00pm

This program, offered by the Red Cross, educates children in 3rd – 5th grade and their parents in emergency preparations. The kids will get to decorate their own pillow cases while learning about safety.
