DW – Creation Station for Kids

Dalton-Whitfield County Library’s Children’s department presents the Creation Station, an art workshop for kids on Thursday, February 25th from 4pm – 5pm.

Designed for kids in Kindergarten – 5th grade, an instructor will help kids paint a picture step-by-step. This class is limited to 20 participants as there will only be twenty canvases available for purchase ($5 or less). Signing up is not required as this will be a first-come, first-serve event. Please arrive early to ensure a place in the class.

Please note, all children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the class.

NGRL – CLOSED for Staff Training

Calhoun-Gordon Library, Chatsworth-Murray Library, and Dalton-Whitfield Library will all be closed for staff training on Monday, February 15th

This first of our training days for the year. The libraries will be closed to the public while staff comes in and learns how to better serve you!

Remember, during that time our book drops will be open for returns and our eBooks and eAudiobooks will still be available. You can renew your items online as well!

DW – CLOSED due to weather

Dalton-Whitfield County Library will be closed all day on February 10, 2016 due to the weather

Whitfield and Dalton schools are closed, so we have decided to take the safer route and close as well. Please stay warm and stay safe. Do not use the book drops unless you feel safe driving. Keep an eye on the website, Facebook, and TV9 for any updates.

Dalton-Whitfield County Library will be closed today, Saturday, January 23, 2016 due to the inclement weather and icy conditions.

Whitfield county schools are closing, and to protect the community and the staff, Dalton-Whitfield County Library will be closed due to the weather. All events scheduled for today will be postponed.

Dalton-Whitfield Library has reopened as of December 14th

 

Dalton-Whitfield County Library has REOPENED!

We would like to apologize for the extended closure, but there was lots of work to be done. We’d like to thank everyone for their patience.

The LTTC will not open on Monday, December 14th, It will reopen as soon as additional safety requirements are inspected and approved. We do not expect a long delay. A public computing area is available on the main floor. We apologize for the delay!
