CM – Rhett Turner Book Signing

Murray County Courthouses: Cover of The Architecture of Living Monuments

Georgian Rhett Turner, son of Ted Turner who is the founder of the cable news network CNN, recently published his photography anthology of all 159 courthouses in our state. Georgia County Courthouses: The Architecture of Living Monuments dedicates its entirety to displaying the individual beauty and history that every Georgian courthouse represents. It is with great honor to the county that the Murray County Courthouse was chosen by Turner as the cover of the anthology.

As such, on October 18th, Rhett Turner will be present for a public book signing event. It will begin at 2 PM and continue until 4 PM, and the affair will be held at the Chatsworth Depot. Event sponsors, Friends of the Chatsworth-Murray County Library, will have a limited number of copies available for purchase at $30.00 per copy at the book signing. The anthology is available at Wal-Mart, online on Amazon.com, and in various other book shops, such as Books-a-Million.
