October 19th – 24 is Friends of the Library Week and in celebration, Calhoun-Gordon Library’s Friends of the Library will be hosting a three-day book sale on the 22nd – 24th

Support the library and the Friends of the Library by attending the book sale. It will be inside the library and proceeds go to support the library and library staff. On Saturday, October 24th, the Friends of the Library Book Sale will be having dollar bags!

Calhoun-Gordon Library celebrates National Coloring Day: August 2nd, 2015

In celebration of National Coloring Day, we will be giving out free coloring sheets for all ages. The children’s department will have the pages for children, the YA section will have pages for teens, and the circulation desk will have pages for adults. Come relax and color with us.

The pages will be available all week.

Calhoun-Gordon Library presents a Summer Reading Program: Bio-Bus: Biotechnology and Forensics on July 17th at 12:30pm

This program is for 6th-12th graders only. Pre-registration is required as seats are extremely limited. Contact Nyala at 706-624-1456 for more information. Event will be at the Calhoun-Gordon Library.

Calhoun-Gordon Library presents a Summer Reading Program: Comic Book Artist Kyle Puttkammer on July 2nd

The creator of “Galaxy Man”, Kyle will show kids and teens what it takes to make a comic book. Don’t forget to check in for your weekly prize and a chance to win a grand prize. Check-ins stop 15 minutes before the show and begin again after the show ends.
