Dalton-Whitfield, Calhoun-Gordon, and Chatsworth-Murray County Public Libraries will be closing at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 21st, 2018

In observance of the Thanksgiving Holidays, the libraries will be closing early on Wednesday and remain closed until Sunday, November 25th. Our downloadable eBooks and eAudiobooks will be available and our bookdrops will be open.

CG – Microsoft Word 2010 Computer Class (Pre-Registration is Required)

Calhoun-Gordon County Library presents a Microsoft Word 2010 Computer Class on Monday, November 6th, 2017 from 1:30pm – 2:45pm

Learn the basics of Microsoft Office Word 2010. Pre-registration is required as seats are limited.

To register, drop by the front desk at Calhoun-Gordon County Library or call 706-624-1456.

Laptops provided for the class have the Windows 7 operating system. It is highly recommended that you take the Basics 101 and 102 class before taking the intermediate classes.

Northwest Georgia Regional Library System Board of Trustees Meeting at Dalton-Whitfield

The Board of Trustees for Northwest Georgia Regional Library System will be meeting November 2nd, 2017 at 5:00pm

The Board of Trustees of the Calhoun-Gordon County Public Library, the Chatsworth-Murray County Public Library, and the Dalton-Whitfield County Public Library, will hold a combined quarterly meeting Thursday, November 2nd, 2017, at 5:00pm at the Dalton-Whitfield County Public Library, located at 310 Cappes St, Dalton, GA 30720. This meeting is open to the public.

This regularly scheduled meeting of the board of trustees will consider agenda items, actions and review proposed amednments and or updates to the constitution and bylaws of the public library. Proposed changes to the constitution and bylaws must be presented to the library board of trustess for review at least 2-weeks prior to the meeting date. The notice must also be presented in the public news organ prior to the open meeting. O.C.G.A § 50-14-1.
