Calhoun-Gordon County Library presents a Teen Write Night on February 20 2018 from 5:00pm-6:00pm

Come and join us as we work on journals, school writing projects, book ideas – anything you want to write. Or, if you prefer, you can work on an art journal or sketchbook. Basic supplies provided.

For teens in 6th-12th grade.

Learn some great recipes by experimenting with ingredients. Supplies will be provided. For 4th-12th grade.

CG – Teen Canvas & Coffee & Board Games

Calhoun-Gordon County Public Library is hosting an Teen Canvas, Coffee, & Board Games event on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 10:00am-2:00pm

Create art with canvases from 10:00am-12:00pm and then stick around to play board games from 12:00pm-2:00pm. Enjoy some coffee while you participate. Supplies will be provided. For teens in 6th-12th grade.

It’s an all-out Pokémon™ battle! Join us as we come together each month with games, crafts, and more–all centered around our favorite Pokémon™ characters. Feel free to bring along your own cards or use ones provided. This event is open to tweens in 4th-6th grade.

Calhoun-Gordon County Public Library is hosting a YA Movie Night on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 5:00pm-7:00pm

Visit the teen area of the library and see what movie will be showing! Free and open to teens in 6th-12th grade. Note: Movies will be PG-13 or lower.

CG – YA Author Visit: McCall Hoyle

Calhoun-Gordon County Public Library will be hosting YA author McCall Hoyle on Saturday, December 2nd from 10:00am-11:00am

Join Georgia Author McCall Hoyle as she discusses her book The Thing With Feathers. This book features a teenager with epilepsy facing her first time in a public school. She’s accompanied by her siezure dog, and studies Emily Dickinson.
