Early literacy is a major focus at the  Calhoun-Gordon County Library.  Many activities throughout the year are geared toward this cause.  The annual summer reading program, author/illustrator visits, weekly story time events and more are especially designed to encourage early literacy. It’s never too early to start bringing your children to the library. The children’s collection consists of easy readers, beginning readers, Caldecott and Newberry award -winning books, audio books, children’s videos, and juvenile fiction and non-fiction.

Gigi’s Story Time each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. for toddlers through age 5.  Join us for stories, crafts, finger plays and more.
