Dalton-Whitfield County Library’s LTTC presents a World Wide Web Computer Class: Internet 101 on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 11:00am – 12:30pm
Learn the basics of Internet browsers and searching the web. Basic computer skills required.
Registration is required for all LTTC classes. You can register in several different ways. Click the image below to fill out an online form, call the library at 706-876-2504, or drop by to pick up a paper form.

Join Executive Director of Harris Arts Center, Toni Molleson, as she helps preschool-age kids create their own banjos!
Dalton-Whitfield County Library will be hosting an adult event: Coloring Time on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 and Tuesday,October 18, 2016 from 3:00pm – 6:30pm
Drop by any time between 3pm and 6:30pm to enjoy free coloring pages, quiet music, and coffee. Enjoy some time to de-stress. This is a free event with all materials provided. Adults ages 18 and up only, please.

Calhoun-Gordon County Library will be hosting John Shivers for a writing workshop on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 10:30am – 2:00pm
Join local Author John Shivers as he teaches us about writing about the Appalachian region and its distinct customs and mores. This is a great workshop to attend if you’re planning to enter our Appalachian Writing Contest, which has a submission deadline of October 17 by 6:00pm. All ages are welcome.
Participants are encouraged to bring your lunch and participate in a “Lunch and learn” session. Pre-registration is encouraged.

We’ll learn about how clay pottery is created and maybe get our hands dirty.
Dalton-Whitfield County Library presents: Creation Station for K-5th Grade on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 4:00pm
Kids in K-5th will create a weaving project using old CDs. This event is first come, first served. No early registrations available. Limit: 25 people.
