10:30am every Wednesday. Please note that story time sessions are regularly scheduled for the general public and are for preschool-age kids. An adult must remain with children attending story time. If a child engages in disruptive behavior, the adult must remove him/her from the session.
Calhoun-Gordon County Library presents Baby Lap Sit & Sign: Tuesdays at 10:30am
This class is for ages birth to two and we will be singing, learning a few words in sign language, and having a very short story. Using sign language is very beneficial for infants due to the fact that they cannot speak very well; they are, however, communicating in some form or fashion. Being able to sign what they want takes away some of the frustration of communication.
The class will only last 30 minutes, but are parents and children are fer to stay, play, and socialize afterwards.
Dalton-Whitfield County Library’s LTTC will be offering a computer class: Computer Basics on Tuesday, September 26th, 2017 from 5:30pm-7:00pm
Learning the basic parts of the computer and how to use it.
Sign-up sheets are located at the lab desk downstairs or you can call and let a staff member know you’d like to sign up.
Dalton-Whitfield County Library presents a tween event: Spy Games on Thursday, September 26th, 2017 at 5:00pm
Complete spy training activities and work together to complete a mission at the library. Refreshments provided. Open to 4th-8th grade.

Calhoun-Gordon County Library presents passive STEM activities for 3rd-5th grade: Tuesdays at 10:30am
Come to the children’s area and participate in building projects. Gears, legos, and other itmes can be used to spark creativity. Certificates will be given out for various categories.
Passive activites refers to doing a project on your own. Supplies are provided and it is the perfect opportunity to stop by and hang out for a little while, creating, playing, and socializing.

Watch this epic fantasy inspired by Arthurian legends. A small child set adrift and raised in the streets becomes one of legend when he pulls the sword from the stone. Free popcorn and drinks will be provided. Adults 18 and older, please.
