CG – International Dot Day Celebration

Calhoun-Gordon County Library will be celebrating International Dot Day for Noni’s Nook on Thursday, September 15, 2016 starting at 10:30am

September 15th marks the anniversary of the publication of best-selling author/illustrator Peter H. Reynolds’ The Dot, a “story book for all ages”. Starting in 2009, a group of educators began celebrating this date as International Dot Day – it is a day for all to explore te story’s powerful themes: bravery, creativity, and self-expression. Come share with us this exciting day and see how we make our mark during Non’s Nook! Also, we will have dot-to-dot activities of varying difficulties for all ages. Feel free to bring a snack lunch & have fun with the whole family.

CM – International Dot Day Celebration

Chatsworth-Murray County Library will be celebrating International Dot Day on Thursday, September 15, 2016 starting at 10:30am

Join us as we celebrate The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, which encourages us to make our mark on the world. We will be doing crafts including making and painting dots to hang on our tree, playing a dot-based game, and doing a scavenger hunt. We’ll have popcorn for a snack!
