Calhoun-Gordon Library presents a Teen DIY Night making Fleece Tie Blankets: March 27, 2015 from 4:00pm – 5:30pm
Bring two pieces of fleece cut to 1.5 yards and a set of cloth-cutting scissors to the Calhoun-Gordon Library and we’ll show you how to make your own fleece tie blanket. It’s the perfect way to beat the cold weather. This program is for teens in 6th – 12th grade.

Kids of all ages, join us on Saturday, March 21st for a Lego building competition. We’ll supply legos that can be used for the day and you supply the creativity!

Dalton-Whitfield Library presents a Teen Drop-In Activity: Puzzles!
Drop by the teen room any time during the week of Monday, March 16th- Friday, March 20th to help put together a puzzle.
Calhoun-Gordon Library is offering a Computer Basics: Internet and E-Mail computer class on Saturday, March 14th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Basic computer skills are required. Learn how to access the internet using different search engines and create your own e-mail account. This class is great for people wanting to learn more about using the internet to search for jobs, watch youtube, go on Facebook, and more.

Dalton-Whitfield Library is presenting a teen movie: Guardians of the Galaxy
Teens in 6th-12th grade are invited to a free showing of Guardians of the Galaxy! There will be free popcorn provided and candy available for purchase. Please note, Guardians of the Galaxy is PG-13. The movie will be showing 03/13/2015 at 3:30pm.

Come by the Calhoun library with a skein of starbella or sashay yarn and your knitting needles. We’ll show you how to make a ruffled scarf fit to impress!

Teens in 6-12th grade, do you have some time to kill? Stop by the library and fold your own lucky shamrock. You’ll find instructions and supplies in the teen area. Make it and take it home with you. No registration and no set times.
Calhoun-Gordon Library is offering a Computer Basics: Getting Started computer class on Saturday, March 7th from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
No computer experience is required for this class. Come learn how to use a mouse, become familiar with the keyboard, and learn about other parts of the computer. This is great if you’re a first time user!
