DW – Teen College DIY Projects

Dalton-Whitfield County Library will be hosting a teen DIY event: College projects on Saturday, April 16, 2016, from 12:00pm – 1:00pm

For many seniors, it’s time to think about college. Come create different projects that might be useful in a dorm (or your room!). This is a free event with all materials provided. Teens in grades 6th – 12th only, please.

CM – Board of Trustees Meeting

Chatsworth-Murray County Library’s Board of Trustees will be meeting on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 5:30pm

The Board of Trustees helps determine budgets, policies, and so much more for the Chatsworth-Murray County Library. Their meetings are open to the public, so this is your opportunity to come and speak your piece. Board of Trustees meetings occur quarterly on the 2nd Thursday of January, April, July, and October.

CG – Spring Book Sale

The Friends of Calhoun-Gordon County Library are hosting their semi-anual Book Sale April 14th & 15th from 1-6pm and April 16th from 10am – 2pm

There will be a special preview sale for Friends of the Library members on Wednesday April 13th from 4pm – 6pm. Join the Friends in supporting the Calhoun-Gordon County Library by purchasing used books.

The sale will be held in the Community Room at the library.

DW – LTTC Internet 101: Computer Basics Class

Dalton-Whitfield County Library’s LTTC presents a Computer Basics Class: Internet 101 on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 11:00am – 12:30pm

Learn about the parts of a webpage, internet terminology, and more. No computer skills are required for this class.

Learn how to set up an email, how to send and receive emails and how to add attachments to emails. Pre-registration is required as seats are limited.

Dalton-Whitfield County Library will be hosting an adult nutrition class: My Plate on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, from 5:30pm – 6:30pm

Learn tips and tricks to keep you and your family healthy. Topics will include reading food labels, hidden sugars, and more. This is a free event with all materials provided. Adults ages 18 and up only, please.
