DW – Teens Make it Your Library

Dalton-Whitfield Library hosts Make it Your Library: May 1st @ 5:30pm

Do you want book clubs? Study nights? Crafts every week? Movies on a different day (or different movies!)? Art displays? Minecraft or other video games? Other events?

We want to know so that we can make it happen! Drop by the library on May 1st at 5:30 to tell the library your ideas on how to make the library somewhere you’d like to visit. Also help us name our summer reading programs and learn about our plans for that.

Interested teens may then find out more information about joining the Teen Advisory Group and earning community service.

DW – Career Counseling (LTTC)

Thinking of changing career paths or getting ready to start working? Come meet with a trained career counselor for free and discuss your options!

Dalton-Whitfield will be partnering with trained counselors to provide Career Counseling to all area residents: Fridays, 10am – 4pm March 21st – June 27th.

The counseling is free, open to everyone, and registration is not required.

If you aren’t sure what kind of career you want to start, have a career and want to change, or just want to explore your options, this counseling might be for you!

When you come in, you will need to complete a written form and an online career assessment through GA College 411, before you meet briefly with a career counselor to figure out which of the three colleges in the area (Chattahoochee Tech, Dalton State, or Georgia Northwestern Tech) will be the best to help you meet your new career goals.
