Bring an old t-shirt or a new one you don’t mind cutting up and a good pair of scissors. We’ll show you how to cut and tie to make an awesome tote bag!

Dalton-Whitfield Library’s Friends of the Library present a Local Author Showcase and Reception, Wednesday, April 8th from 4:00-5:30pm
The Showcase and Reception will feature:

Calhoun-Gordon Library presents a Teen DIY Night making Fleece Tie Blankets: March 27, 2015 from 4:00pm – 5:30pm
Bring two pieces of fleece cut to 1.5 yards and a set of cloth-cutting scissors to the Calhoun-Gordon Library and we’ll show you how to make your own fleece tie blanket. It’s the perfect way to beat the cold weather. This program is for teens in 6th – 12th grade.

Chatsworth-Murray Library presents Story Time: March 25th at 10:30 am
Join us as we read The Turn Around, Upside Down alphabet book, The three little rigs and more!
10:30am every Wednesday. Please note that story time sessions are regularly scheduled for the general public and are for preschool-age kids. An adult must remain with children attending story time. If a child engages in disruptive behavior, the adult must remove him/her from the session.
We now have a picnic table built by Boy Scouts Troop 75 with materials donated by Bradley Ace Hardware for an outdoor activity area. Story Time will never be the same!
Calhoun-Gordon Library presents Builders of Tomorrow: a Lego Competition
Kids of all ages, join us on Saturday, March 21st for a Lego building competition. We’ll supply legos that can be used for the day and you supply the creativity!
