Calhoun-Gordon County Library presents a Computer Class: Resumes 102 on Monday, October 30th, 2017 from 1:30-2:45pm
Continue building and formatting your resume from the previous class. Note: We recommend you take Basics 101 and 102 before taking the Resume class if you are not familiar with computers. Pre-registration is required as seats are limited.

Calhoun-Gordon County Library presents a Teen Event: Coding Class on Saturdays in October from 1:00pm-2:45pm
Come learn basic programming concepts and strengthen your logical thinking skills using a combination of Khan Academy lessons and IRL exercises. The class will be led by G. Ann Campbell, a programmer with nearly 20 years’ experience in the industry. Originally self taught, Campbell went back to school to earn her Bachelor’s of Computer Science while programming full time during the day. Today she works as a Product Manager for SonarSource SA, the company behind the open source software code quality platform SonarQube. Pre-registration is required.
Teens in 6th-12th grade only, please.

Calhoun-Gordon County Library presents a Workshop for Teens on October 28th, 2017 from 12:00pm-2:00pm
Screaming balloons, smoking bubbles, stringing vampire veins, vanishing ghost poop, and a specimen jar filled with pickled body parts…sound interesting/ The library is the place to be on October 28th. Join us as we explore the science of dry ice with fog-filled bubbles and conduct spooky experiments that fizz, pop, scream, smoke, bubble and erupt. We will have spooky snacks and a great photo booth so throw on a costume and head this way for fun, food, and fright!
For teens in 6th-12th grade.
Calhoun-Gordon County Library presents Reading with Carl & Sue on October 13th and 27th from 4:00pm-5:00pm
Children are encouraged to sit and read with Carl, an Alliance of Therapy Dogs member, to gain confidence in reading aloud in a non-judgmental atmosphere.

The Spanish Language version of the October Family movie will be played. When monsters go on vacation, this is their favorite destination. Free popcorn and drinks will be provided. All ages welcome.

Free for 6th—12th graders. All supplies provided. Come and have a great time creating your own Zombie look with make-up and fake tattoos. Fun and Food!
